As of this writing, there are $2 Million People with out power on the east coast. With this heat, that's going to be fun. With all the turmoil going on politically in the world, the financial markets in disarray, and just the uncertiantly of the future we've been thinking about the stress of "going without". So, we've taken measures to limit the the stressors we'd feel if the power went out. (as an example)
What have you done?
One sight I like is Advanced Survival Guide. It's run by a pretty good group of folks and the information provided is clean. What I'm saying; they're not expecting aliens to come down from space, or a giant monster from the sea to devour mankind. Some of those sites can get.... well crazy.
