"Monday’s weak US retail sales
showed that the world’s biggest economy is slowing very quickly, leading one
economist to claim America has gone from “first half hero to second quarter
zero.”............."
Yet ANOTHER article on Italy. This time they're simply asking the question if Italy isn't just Spain with better PR. If that's the question they're asking.... I'll ask one. Why aren't their debt market's 100% transparent? Is there something I'm missing here? The thrid largest economy in the euro is being compared to Spain - no one knows....PR????
I'm sure you're aware of the US ship firing at the boat that got too close and ignored warnings. Now, we're seeing in the media that there was no warning... the shooting wasn't justified is the implication. I'm not sure about you but, if I were in a region where there's warships patroling, I doubt that I'd be getting close to any warship. Period. It's justified - I'm certain. Especially after the boming of the USS Cole.
The LIBOR rate fixing scandal is just getting warmed up. This could be history's BIGGEST bank fraud. Maybe even the crime of the century. Banks fixed rates - like a star athlete throwing the game for money.
