Why is it that the media underplays leftist protests in their violence?

In other news, we're being told that the Euro crisis is going to be long and ardous. 

With the private sector shrinking, how are governments going to fund themselves?  In Europe this is what's happening, and they're admitting it. 

Greece is begging for more time.   How much longer, 3, 4 or 5 years?

The US Midwest isn't the only place facing a cripling drought.  The Balkans are as well.

The US drought is still worsening.  Where I'm located, it's lessened considerably.   The full impact of this isn't yet realized in the United States.
