Here's an interesting take on the recent slide in Oil prices.  There's a strong and growing belief out there that QE 3.0 won't work.  Possibly because the previous QE's, Stimulus, POMO auctions, and Operation twist worked so well?????   The article is from CNBC.

The boston fed president Eric Rosengren is enthusiastically touting the success of QE 3.0 already.  The positive effect is on wholesale mortgage rates.  Marching to the beat of the drummer.....

In other places on internet-land we're hearing how Global Growth is starting to slow down.  I guess you can pick and choose the news you want to read.  Whatever floats your boat, I guess?

The United States Government is considering transferring the Blind Sheik to Egypt.  This is the guy that bombed the WTC the first time and organized several other terrorist attacks.  Unbelievable.

B of A is planning on cutting 16,000 jobs by the end of December.   Losing your job around Christmas time would really stink....  wow.

Nomura is going to be cutting 30% of it's European investment bank jobs.  An exact number hasn't been released yet, but it'll be a big one.  They've got a large operation over there.

In France, the government has ordered a probe into Genetically Modified Corn.  Apparently, GM corn has been shown to cause a thing called Cancer in rats.  Why do the Europeans seem to be better in tune to things than our own government?   Take the Google street mapping thing for instance.

There's a new TV show on called "Revolution".  It depicts America 15 years after an EMP blast.  There's a growing debate on the issue of America getting hit with an EMP.  Would it in fact take down entire power grids?  How long would it take them to replace all the transformers and portions of the power grid destroyed?  Those are all questions that I hope we don't ever have to answer.  Forget the shambles the economy would be in, the loss of life would be horrible.
