Will the GOP slam the door on gun control push?

I've been reading a lot of new stories lately on how the GOP win and complete takeover of the Senate and House of Representatives will stop any future gun-control legislation.

I believe this will be a great thing. All too often we keep hearing "common sense gun control". It seems as if gun owners must continually give up rights, it's a slow a erosion of rights   We insist as a country I'm not enforcing current laws.
