The current Export sector is slowing as demonstrated by the NY manufacturing indexes.    Our GDP is 2/3 consumer spending, so if there's an impact in the overall numbers this will take some time to reflect.

Our government is arguing with the Libyan government as to whether or not the attack on our embassy was planned or spontaneous.  There are some big ramifications if it was planned.  Mainly, the foreign policy of the Obama administration regarding the Arab Spring..........

The Wall Street Journal has an EXCELLENT article on the size of the mess we're in.  There's a lot of fatigue out there surrounding the economic mess we've been wallowing in.  Even if you're worn out from the news and constant negativity, this is still an important read.  Why?  It's really simple; knowing what is coming and having an idea of what to do once it gets here is VERY important.

There's some protests going on in China over the dispute with Japan over some little islands.  It's escalating a little bit.  We have a mutual pact with Japan to protect them.  The pact was signed after WWII.   I'm thinking the riots in China are a result of anger over the Chinese economy declining.  A pressure cooker always needs an outlet.
